Privacy Policy — TrueFlow

Overview

TrueFlow is operated by Caleb Pardy, a sheet metal tradesperson based in Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), Nova Scotia. We collect personal information only to respond to enquiries and quote work. We handle it in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us — there are no accounts and no payments taken on this site.

How we use your information

To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
To arrange and complete sheet metal, ductwork and ventilation work.
To keep a record of the work we have discussed or done for you.

Quote and contact form submissions are delivered to us by email. We process them through XyrenMail, an email delivery service, acting on our behalf.

No marketing without asking. We do not add you to mailing lists or send promotional messages unless you specifically ask us to.

When we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only when needed to do the work:

Licensed trade partners. Refrigerant, air-conditioning and heat-pump installation are compulsory certified trades in Nova Scotia and are handled by our licensed partners. If your job needs that work, we may pass along the relevant project details to coordinate it.
Service providers. Tools that help us operate, such as our email delivery service, process information on our instructions only.
Legal reasons. Where required by law or to protect our rights.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and project information for as long as needed to provide and stand behind our work, and to meet tax and record-keeping obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete it.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you can:

Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
Ask us to delete information we no longer need.
Withdraw consent for optional uses, such as analytics cookies.

How we protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share and limit access to those who need it to do the work. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
