A sheet metal shop that owns the air side.

TrueFlow is led by Caleb Pardy — six years in sheet metal, completing Red Seal certification — serving homeowners and contractors across Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), Nova Scotia.

My name is Caleb Pardy, and I've spent the last six years in sheet metal — fabricating and installing the ductwork, transitions, and ventilation that decide whether a home actually feels comfortable. It's a trade built on precision: a fitting is either right or it isn't, and the difference shows up in every room, every season. I'm a fourth-year sheet metal apprentice completing my Red Seal certification, and I hold every job to that standard today.

I started TrueFlow because the same thing kept standing out to me on job after job. The air side — the ductwork and ventilation hidden behind the walls — is where most comfort problems actually begin, and it's the part too many installs treat as an afterthought. That's the work I specialize in, and it's what we lead with.

How I approach every job

Precision, efficiency, and attention to detail — on every project, no exceptions. I'd rather take the time to do something properly once than cut a corner you'd feel every winter. Duct sizing, clean transitions, sealed joints, proper ventilation, and sheet metal fabricated to fit the job instead of forced into it. Every install I take on is built to last: it performs for years, and it looks as clean as it works.

Specialists in the air side

Most HVAC companies chase the equipment sale. We focus on the part that decides whether that equipment performs at all — the ductwork, the ventilation, the airflow, and the sheet metal behind it. A heat pump is only as good as the air being moved to it: undersized runs, poor transitions, leaky joints, and exhaust that ends in the attic instead of outside are the quiet reasons a home stays cold, stuffy, or damp. We fix the cause, not the symptom.

How we handle heat pumps

We do the air side in-house — ductwork, ventilation, and airflow. For refrigerant, AC, and commissioning, which are licensed certified work in Nova Scotia, we coordinate with licensed heat-pump partners so homeowners get a complete, properly-handled install. We'll never claim a trade that isn't ours, and we'll always be straight with you about what a job needs.

Who we work with

Homeowners across HRM who want real comfort and a clean install — and HVAC contractors, builders, and renovators who need a dependable sheet metal and ductwork sub they can put their name behind. If you're a contractor, see our trade support page.
